Pastor Chris received his Masters Degree in Theology from Summit Bible College,
Bakersfield Calif.
He served with Pastor Wayne DeYoung as Administrative Assistant and Associate
Pastor from October 1995 until June 2002. In July of 2002 Pastor Chris was
comissiond to take over as Senior Pastor of Faith in Christ Fellowship and received
his Licence to Preach from Classis Northern Michigan in March of 2003. In March
2005 he was ordained as a Ministry Associate and in September 2008 was
examined by Classis Northern Michigan and on October 5th 2008, Pastor Chris
was Ordaind as Minister of the word and sacrment at Faith in Christ
Fellowship by Rev. Duane Timmermans and the congregation. He is currently
working on His Doctorate in Ministry from Summit Bible College.
In addition to his duties as Senior Pastor at Faith in Christ Fellowship, Pastor Chris
has been Adjunct Faculty in the Health Physical Education and Recreation
Department (HPER) at Northern Michigan University since 1990 where he teaches
Basic Emergency Medical Technician, Wilderness First Responder and Red Cross,
Responding to Emergencies courses.
Pastor Chris also serves as vice chair on the Board of Directors for Pregnency
Services/ Care Clinic of Marquette.
Doris serves as the church secretary and oversees the Children's Ministry. She has
a degree in Business Administration and has over 20 years of experience in
Children and Youth Ministry with Canaan Church in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In addition to her Church responsibilities Doris serves as a Crisis Counselor with
Pregency Services of Marquette
Pastor Chris and Doris were married May 6, 2000 and have two daughters, Tanzi
and Chrissy
